The securitization access small lenders don't have

Small and mid-sized lenders generally cannot securitize on their own today; that access has largely belonged to large organizations with significant capital or massive loan portfolios.

Jennifer McGuinness-Lubbert, CEO of Pivot Financial, says bond buyers favor diversified entities and want to avoid saturation risk tied to any single lender. Pivot is now working on a structure that would let small, mid, and larger lenders pool together and reach that same triple-A execution.
